ColdAvenger® Expedition Balaclava - High Performance Protection
- Made with Polartec® Wind Pro®, an extremely breathable fleece that is four times more wind resistant than classic fleece. Polartec® calls Wind Pro® the new "super fleece" because of its ability to perform in such diverse conditions and uses from outer wear to an insulating base layer
- The ColdAvenger® Expedition Balaclava design protects entire head from cold weather, sun and wind with an integrated fully removable ColdAvenger® ventilator
- While the ventilator is not designed to be used without the hood, the hood can be used without the ventilator

*The inherent stretch of the Polartec® Wind Pro fabric used in the ColdAvenger® Expedition Balaclava allows for very universal sizing and the two sizes we offer will fit the majority of people. The "Regular" size is recommended for head sizes from 6 5/8" - 7 3/4". The "XL" ColdAvenger® Expedition Balaclava is perfect for those who choose to layer, or whose head size is larger than 7 3/4".

I'm not sure why I want another one. It will probably last 50 years, but I'm buying another ColdAvenger Expedition Balaclava because this is an
awesome piece of gear I used when I summited McKinley. I never want to be without it on any of my "extreme trips". On a side note... It's
really interesting seeing TV shows (some fiction, some not)that have people with frost-bitten facial parts- I'm convinced that if they were using this
balaclava that this would not have happen. Too bad Beck Weathers didn't have one on Everest.

I just received my regular size ColdAvenger Expedition and it's a perfect fit. Not too tight and not too loose. Can't wait to try it out in field
conditions. Looks even cooler (pardon the pun) that I expected it would. A fantastic product.
